Cap and trade is the most effective way to force polluters to address their needless pollution while bringing in badly needed revenue for infrastructure investments. The cancellation of this program put Ontario at risk of falling behind other provinces and jurisdictions around the world in the fight against climate change. It is wholly irresponsible to gut the program for solely partisan political reasons without any data or facts to back it up.
