The process of the original proposed changes to the Greenbelt was quite frankly corrupted and corrupt.
The current government showed its true colours. Why? Because the dealings between the gravel industry in Ontario and the highest levels of the current government of Premier Ford et al.
All of those involved in the meetings and making decisions behind closed doors should be ashamed of themselves.

The proposal to return lands to the Greenbelt - Greenbelt Statute Law Amendment Act 2023 is a start. it requires all those involved in making the original decisions need to look in their collective mirrors and do more to regain the trust of all Ontario residents. In particular, the politicians that are supposed to have a sacred trust between themselves, their constituents and the civil servants in the Ontario Government have a difficult task ahead of them.
