Instead of building out into conservation areas, we should approve more medium density zones to be build in existing zones. We need to stop using outdated urban design that only creates sprawl and makes traffic worse. Read more

The amendment that prohibits the addition or removal or land from the green belt should be heavily guarded. Addition of course is closer to the right the direction for environmental conservation, however there should be limiting parameters that assess the quality of the land being added. Read more

Hi gang, I understand that some of the lands that were removed by this legislation was truly environmentally sensitive land that should never have been removed from the Greenbelt, but the land in Grimsby should never have been in the Greenbelt in the first place. Read more

I support the government's proposal to return these lands to the Greenbelt. The Greenbelt is an important part of Ontario's environment, and it provides a number of benefits, including protecting farmland, water resources, and natural heritage. Read more

The Oro-Moraine is under increasing attack but is as important as the Oakridge moraine to protect environmental health & the safety of drinking water for a significant portion of Central Ontario. It should be included in the new legislation. Read more

Due to business practices that were not transparent, the 15 parcels of land must be returned to the Greenbelt. This 'Greenbelt proposal' raises a bigger issue with our government not following proper procedures and in the process, risk loosing the trust of the public. Read more
