I think it is essential that all the land taken out of the Greenbelt (under Premier Doug Ford) be immediately returned to the Greenbelt.

I also think that we need to prohibit habitat destruction in the Greenbelt, and that new gravel pits and quarries should be prohibited from appearing in the Greenbelt.

We also urgently need to use Conservation Easements to protect Prime Agricultural Lands in the Greenbelts. This is analogous to the Agricultural Land Reserve in BC.

Also, I think we should ensure that any and all reviews to the Greenbelt can only add land, not remove it.

Land swaps should be prohibited.

Also, all activities involving the Greenbelt must involve meaningful and fulsome consultation with First Nations.
