Urban boundaries should be decided by municipalities. They are able to determine where and when to do this better than the Province. Individuals with lots of money to make on land speculation should not be allowed to influence where urban boundaries are expanded. Similarly, landowners in the Greenbelt should not be allowed to determine where developments should occur. 40-hectare removals should not be allowed. This would allow leapfrogging of development which should always be discouraged.
To build more houses, allow more density, especially along subways, bus routes, LRT and GO trains. We need to be able to move lots of people without personal vehicles. Open up the 407 to get trucks off the 401.
