Urban boundaries should be decided by municipalities. They are able to determine where and when to do this better than the Province. Individuals with lots of money to make on land speculation should not be allowed to influence where urban boundaries are expanded.

My family lives a few minutes from these proposed developments & it's no wonder there has been such vehement protests against this further over development of this area. I left my home @ 9 a.m. to get to a doctor's appointment in Dundas, assuming that 'rush hour' would be winding down. It wasn't.

Please shoot down this proposal and leave things the way they were. This will hinder land development, we are already drastically short on our housing mandate and prices are astronomical for the consumer… don’t make matters worse…

This is a very unfortunate scenario. We have so much land. Much of which is aerially mapped for environmental protection. We must protect environmentally sensitive areas. But we must use the vast amounts of land we have to build
