The Pinedale Community and…

The Pinedale Community and its residents are requesting that the government perform their due diligence in the review of this proposal for expansion and increased production at the plant. Our communities are expected to be a place for all individuals to thrive. If the plant needs to increase their production I'm confident there are many rural areas which would be much more suitable for an expansion, then our community.
Our city crest has the motto “Stand By” — that means stand with and together to help one another, and to also stand ready for action. We are calling on our government and public servants to stand ready for action and protect the community we live in and call home.
Health concerns are significant: exposure to nickel is linked to lung cancer, exposure to benzene is linked to Leukemia, exposure to silica is linked to pneumoconiosis, exposure to particulate matter is linked to cardiopulmonary disease.
