I think there should be accountability for all government members that were involved in the changes to the Greenbelt Act. I think this government has lost the right to make ANY changes until the beginning of the next government. There should be further designation that changes can't be made to put in a costly, dirty highway that will only save 30 seconds. You can read an article linked below that outlines multiple studies, including one that should be on file as it was commissioned by the previous government's expert panel.

The government should put more money into traffic enforcement and make sure people actually know how to drive as that would drastically affect the quality of traffic flow on our roadways. Or in sustainable public transit that is properly researched, and not just given to the lowest bidder who, by every the mark of every construction project in this city, will vastly exceed their budget and timeline anyway. The government should start picking the bids that will get quality work done on time, and on budget, even if it's only a "couple of bucks" more.
