I live in Grimsby directly…

I live in Grimsby directly in the area that will be affected. This land is amazing crop land. It's incredibly fertile and was used as orchards for many many years. Currently it is home to thousands of animals, plants and insects that are crucial to Ontarios environment. Herds of deer, coyotes, hawks etc call this particular greenbelt home. There is absolutely zero infrastructure to sustain a development in this area as well. The public school is at capacity, trying to take on all of the other new developments in the area, there is no fire or police services on this side of town. This land was removed from the greenbelt in an unethical way and the people of this town want to see it returned back to its protected greenbelt status for many many many more years to come.
