Just another government regulation conceived to generate more tax dollars(permits every two weeks) waste resources (Destroy up to 10 dozen minnows every two weeks) at a cost of at least $50(if purchased).....by the way when did these minnows start being born with best before dates. If not used up fishing. and all under the guise of invasive species. If the minnow ponds of NWO were contaminated by these invasive species I could understand the need for some control however this proposed regulation punishes the residents of our area for a problem originating in the Great lakes and some of their tributaries. Maybe I am being naive but this just appears to be another case of the Northwest paying for others misdeeds. I already need a lawyer and a copy of the current fishing regulations to keep up to the constant changes of regs. pertaining to individual species on each and every waterway. Life was once much simpler.
