The Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA) supports the proposal to return lands to the
Greenbelt and urges the Government to restore full and permanent protection to these lands.

These steps will reinforce the multiple health benefits that ecosystem services provide – food, clean water, air purification and climate regulation, the protection of wetlands, woodlots and wildlife habitat that is essential for ecological stability and human health,
