Even the thought of this Act…

Even the thought of this Act is irresponsible. It is the farthest thing from being "for the people" as it could be. Multiple reports have come out this week confirming that drastic action needs to happen to curtail climate catastrophe past 2030 of temperatures climbing past 1.5ºC. We need to do all possible to assist in climate change action, including but not limited to utilizing the cap and trade program set out by the previous government. If this government is wanting to keep Ontario competitive economically, nationally and internationally, then we need to start taxing the largest polluters, corporations, and not the general public.
