I am a resident of Clarkson, and am writing to express my strong opposition to the application submitted by CRH Canada Group, as outlined in ERO Notice No. 019-8010, requesting an exception to increase operational pollution.

The proposed increase in pollution levels is a matter of grave concern for our community and the environment. Our area is already facing high levels of pollution from CRH, the Petro Canada lubricants plant, and several other heavy industrial businesses in the area. The additional pollution from the cement factory will exacerbate these problems, negatively impacting the air quality and potentially leading to adverse health effects for residents in the local residential zones / communities.

I urge the Ontario government to consider the long-term environmental and health impacts of this decision and reject the application. We must work towards reducing pollution and protecting the health and wellbeing of our community and the environment.
