As a local resident and community leader I am very concerned about this proposed expansion of the waste facility. The proximity to our lovely town and the impact it is expected to have on the local residents and communities nearby is entirely unwanted and unacceptable. We will be doing everything we can from a municipal, provincial, federal, legal, and individual level to prevent this project from going forward. We would appreciate it if our government leaders would prioritize the negative impact this will have on local constituents over the desires of a large corporation with no vested interest in the people who live here.
