Buliding this dump on the doorsteps of Dresden Ontario is definitely a disrespect to the community and environment. Molly's Creek which is situated next to all of this runs into the river, which is home to an abundance of endangered animals (softshell turtles, woodducks, etc). We are dedicated to our environment being preserved and not having countless trucks (proposed 6000 tonnes a day) running to disturb wildlife and citizens. Our roads are not equipped for this and any re-route will just cut into neighboring towns.

York1 purchased this property without thinking about the environment or logistics. They want to be close to their profits (in the US) and don't care if they contaminate an entire ecosystem in Southern Ontario. This proposed location is susceptible to flooding which will wash construction debris into Molly's Creek. Just like you can't unscramble an egg, you can't reverse the environment damage that is going to follow if this goes through.
