The proposal to expand on the landfill currently on Irish School road will only harm the town and the people of Dresden.

The proposed expansion would only be less than 10 metres (including buffer) away from houses across the road in Croton line and less than 50 metres from the North side of Dresden.

The plan for the landfill is to go over a creek that leads into the Sydenham River. The Sydenham River is one of the most diverse habitats in North America, with over 20 endangered species. The water processing at this proposed landfill will also put too much stress on the water plants we use for our drinking water.
