I am strongly opposed to the Get It Done Act, because there has been inadequate consultation with the public. And because it will allow developers to build anywhere, including on our vital wetlands, and even on prime agricultural land.
It will also increase urban sprawl and resulting increased traffic and GHG emissions, which is entirely contrary to the need of the citizens of Ontario for a clean environment, and which I thought was recognized by our government’s environmental legislation.
