In regards to the Get It Done Act: Getting rid of carbon taxes, and promoting personal gasoline car use, is very backwards. The carbon tax is an incentive towards renewables and public transit. Public transit is accessible for everyone. Read more

The point of this is to make it easier for developers to build on greenspace and build in areas that are rural, thus with no transit and no affordability or accessibility. And we need a carbon tax. Without it, taxes will be cut from other areas like healthcare and education.

As a resident of York region, I wholeheartedly disagree with the passing of the “Get It Done” Act. The environmental impacts of your upcoming projects, including the Bradford Bypass, have not been comprehensively explored nor have they have communicated to the public in a transparent fashion. I am strongly opposed to the Get It Done Act, because it includes building super highway 413 which would destroy huge parcels of the Greenbelt and thousands of acres of class A agricultural land together with vital forests and open space, and countless endangered or at risk species. Read more

The province MUST reconsider updating the Area known as the Hamlet of Puslinch. This promise was made many years ago and there is absolutely no reason to deny this request. Support from locals as well as the Local Politicians is currently in place. Read more
