I do not want to raise my family in a town that is 1 km from a potential dump that is for city waste.
York 1 is risking the safety of children riding the bus or walking to school with all of the hundreds of trucks that will be coming in and out of town.
We are going to be exposed to asbestos, our water will be unsafe with the runoff of leachate and pollution into near by waterways, risk of flooding and the environmental issues for our surrounding area are astounding.
We don’t want York 1 in our town. Safety and keeping us from being sick is all that is important.
