"Placing waste regeneration and landfills less than 1km from Dresden, Ontario is a grave concern, especially for the health and safety of our community, particularly our children. Not only does it pose immediate risks to public health, but its proximity to the river and creek hosting endangered species threatens our precious environment. We must prioritize sustainable waste management solutions that safeguard both people and our natural habitats."
It is a no brainer that the ministry of environment should refuse out right to the York 1 proposal to put waste recycle facility and landfill next to the town of Dresden. I find NO reason whatsoever that the ministry should even consider whether or not this proposal should be approved.
