Dear Provincial Government,

Now is not the time to be curtailing initiatives which would lead to reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. As numerous reports have shown, including the most recent from the UN, we as a society are on track for dire environmental consequences if intense, immediate, and collective action is not taken to change course. We are well past the point where individual efforts to combat this crisis are enough. We need effective government action to curtail the problem. Until this government can come up with a plan to mitigate the effects of greenhouse gas emissions, cap and trade laws should not be repealed.
