Protection of our remaining natural environments in this time of the "Anthropocene" must not be left to political decision making. Although we face difficult times for adequate housing, further natural environment must not be lost to create it. In our urban areas we have lost significant remaining woodlands because of political decisions...the route for Ontario Line could have preserved much and didn't - we lost an entire ravine full of wildlife habitat at Walmsley Brook also. Without Conservation Authority expertise, terrible and irreversible decisions, such as the route of the Ontario Line will continue to be made. Not a good idea. I am opposed.

Instead, use the expertise of the CA's and create a lasting legacy with much less negative impact...like the Herb Gray Parkway in Windsor. They got a highway and a net gain in natural environment benefits, and protected wildlife as well. Video uploaded. This is the way to go. No value engineering.
