As the electronic sharing of information is becoming increasingly prevalent and communication through the newspaper (advertisement and articles) declines, the form and nature of communication to the electorate needs to change. Our community specifically, the "local" newspaper is published in a community 100 kms away and has very limited readership within our community. Moving to alternative format to meet the demands of the changing public is necessary for our Province to effectively communicate with constituents. Personally, the elimination of expensive, ineffective advertisement is a necessity.
