I am not in favour of the cancellation of Cap and Trade in Ontario. I have many concerns about climate change, air pollution,and rising CO2 in our atmosphere. My family is affected by climate change and cancelling Cap and Trade in Ontario before having a vetted well developed plan to reduce harm to Ontario and Global citizens is a way of pandering to some interests without considering the interests of the whole - all citizens of Ontario, Canada and, the world because of course Ontario has an impact globally. You have an Environmental Commissioner. Why hold to promises from the hustings prior to an election when this Conservative government is receiving advice to the contrary from a variety of sources. I was just listening to the radio this morning and long-term study has shown that rising CO2 is affecting the nutrient value in crops. I’m worried that your government is taking precipitous action due to rash election promises that makes our world a less inhabitable place.
