The Sydenham River is home to migratory bird populations, with this proposed landfill’s surface runoff and leachate draining directly into this river it could disrupt their natural migration patterns. Please perform a full comprehensive environmental assessment to further determine the affects this landfill could have on the birds in the area. Without habitat preservation there is risk for species to go extinct, or never return to the area.
