An environmental assessment is an absolute must! Preferably the entire project needs to be halted. The water table needs baseline testing especially after the previous owner the property was convicted of violations under the Ontario water resources act for improper storage and liquid leachate was found to be running off from materials on the property. The entire water supply is at risk, Molly’s Creek, Sydenham River and all connecting waterways. This area is protected by the Conservation Authority, but unfortunately they are not allowed to speak on the matter. We have signs posted along the river, stating there are protected species that are at risk.
