I am concerned that these exceptions for development could cause harm to the environment in the Niagara Escarpment. Allowing trails to be approved without a development permit could result in wildlife and plants being harmed. Additionally, roads to farms and additional buildings or extensions could result in changes to drainage and pollution as well as increased risk of soil erosion. Sewage disposals have a negative environmental impact if not planned properly and should have permits in order to minimize runoff. Its not clear what "Various other administrative or minor changes" are and additions to lots could increase urban sprawl development.
