Licensed Architects in Ontario are professionals who are regulated under the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), which is a self governing and self regulating body. OAA members have significant training and skills in the Ontario Building Code and requirements. Licensed architects should be exempt from any new classes of Building Code professionals that are being considered, as well as additional training requirements, as they are already fully trained professionals.
