I am an employee of the forest industry in Northwestern Ontario and my community and outlying communities rely on the forest industry to support our families. The forest industry promotes social, economic and provincial growth in this region of Ontario.
Multiple facilities such as Bio-energy, Bio refining, Sawmills, Pulp and Paper mills, and Woodlands operations. These industries support other businesses and employment of a substantial ratio.
I support the approved changes to the ERO #019-1020 and ask that the proposal be approved and finalized with out delay.
Removing the duplication in the ESA ( red tape ) is critical in not limiting access to a renewable and sustainable supply of the timber. The balanced approach in the CFSA that is under review supports the stability of the forest industry in Ontario
I applaud your actions on this file to date --- good work
