I am writing to urge you to reject the cap and trade cancellation act. The action on climate change by the previous government, while by no means perfect, is our best chance for the environment and for long-term sustainability for our children's future. Do keep a price on carbon. While you keep this, look for more fulsome ways to incentivise the corporate world to meaningfully reduce their waste and emissions.
