I am a citizen of Canada and a resident of Ontario since childhood. I DO NOT support any proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan in the “More homes built Faster” plan.

This is clearly a step to enrich developers and eviscerate environmental protections for sensitive lands. I do not pay taxes for our provincial government’s leader and ministers to enrich themselves and their friends at the expense of our land. This is a disgusting overstep of environmental policy, in the name of growing the housing supply (which is also needed).

IF there even seems to be a modicum of shame amongst the leadership f the province, I would encourage them to feel it yet again, but that’s naive. This province is not short of unprotected property. Use it instead of protected lands.
