This proposal seems a little backwards. In protected land movements that date back all the way to 1893, they were trying to save this land and keep it safe from deforestation and having the land be taken over by man. In this bill proposal, there is an attempt to go back on these promises of keeping these ecosystems. It would diminish the amount of natural land and create more pollution which is reversing everything the protected land movement tried to establish.
