While there is a need for new housing in Ontario, it should not be on the Greenbelt. There are towns throughout the province that would benefit from increased growth that are far from environmentally sensitive areas. Alternatively, increasing density in already urban areas would be more beneficial than a massive expansion of new single family suburban style housing.
