This proposal is deeply upsetting and disturbing to me. The idea to use innocent and sentient beings to train hunting dogs does not align with Canada's values as a country, nor mine. Wildlife is not ours to torture, terrorize or use.
In addition, top predators/carnivores such as foxes and coyotes are extremely vital to the ecosystem in which they live. For example, coyotes play an importance role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem by regulating population of other animals such as racoons and mice.
Please do not move forward with the new proposal.
