We have two small children, and this type of plant does not belong in a residential area. We fear for their health based on the numbers we have seen.

This study does not account for the noise of trucks arriving or leaving the facility. Also, the study does not account for the noise of backup alarms on vehicles on site, which can range up to 100 dPA.

This is a residential neighborhood with young families and children. The last thing it needs is more noise and heavy trucks rumbling along these small streets. There is already a sewage processing plant. This needs to be taken to a more appropriate area, NOT here is West Hill.
The operation of the facility over a 24 hour period causing noise, toxic gases and excess traffic in a community with several schools in all directions from the plant, a community centre and several elderly and young children is a high risk for breathing and health concerns as well as safety.

As a long time resident of Scarborough, and which resides within close proximity of the proposed facility, I certainly disagree and discourage this proposal.

We do not believe that this facility should be expanded to manage organics or any other waste. The traffic along with the CO2 emissions from the trucks and the plant itself will have invade our quiet residential neighbourhood. Please have the proponent reconsider this location.
I am one of the residents of this beau neighborhood which you are going to ruin by subjecting it to biochemical gasses, pollution, hideous sight, smell and noises of stinky trucks passing from its streets 24 hours a day! This is just an example of environmental racism and inequality.

We are very concerned with the impact of noise in our neighbourhood from all the trucks. We bought our home 8 years ago knowing the area was low traffic and quiet. Having 200 plus trucks coming through the neighbourhood in a 24 hour period via Coronation is simply unacceptable.

From my perspective , the traffic study is flawed:
1. The study does not consider the size of the vehicles - ie regular passenger car vs solid waste collection truck / tractor trailer !!
2. A traffic study is irrelevant when you are using historical data that is 6 years old.
