The Haudenosaunee Confederacy Council issued a cease-and-desist order two years ago to stop Nestlé from taking the water. By requesting the permit and making plans to continue the water grab, BlueTriton is ignoring Indigenous sovereignty. Just like Nestlé did. Lire davantage

I absolutely oppose any permit for water extracting be given to Blue Triton or any company that, through extraction for profit, would deplete the natural water resources of Ontario. Lire davantage

Our water is OUR TREASURE. It should be HERE for ALL CANADIANS to access w/o having to compete financially for it. Lire davantage

Bottling of somebody else's water and selling it is inherently wrong. It sends a message that water is not a valuable resource that belongs to the people in the area that it is found. Bottling also encourages wasteful use of plastic bottles.

I am disgusted with this corporate water grab! It’s the government’s job to see that agreements and rights are respected, not pandering to your war chest contributors!!!!

I strongly object to commercial operations taking groundwater for the purpose of making a profit for themselves. There are plenty of lakes & water sources available for them to plunder. Groundwater should be preserved for drinking water use only, and not for commercial use.

Nestle finally got the message: Ontarians are NOT INTERESTED in selling our precious freshwater resources to a megacorporation. What makes Blue Trident think they'll fare any differently? The people of Ontario will fight this gross appropriation, and the perpetrators will only lose time and money!

Please stop selling our water and do not permit BlueTriton to take our water. Water should not be sold for companies to make a profit. Removing water is not an environmentally sound practice and must stop.
