Studies show bike lanes ease congestion & are a boon to businesses, not to mention their most important function, saving lives.
One would think that building more roads with lanes for cars would reduce congestion, but research shows that's not the case. The province should focus on building transit to ease congestion and allow cities to encourage active transportation which has both environmental and health benefits.
