This is unfairly targeted at the larger cities wishing to have safer and quicker routes for cyclists. This will result in needless bloodshed and lives lost due to requiring provincial bureaucracy to approve much needed bike lanes. When more people use bike lanes, less people will take up the road, giving up much needed space for essential road users and allowing Ontario’s citizens to get to destinations quicker. The Minister of Transportation and the Premier must reconsider.
