I am outraged as a cyclist and a Kitchener taxpayer that public money will be spent to remove bike lanes in Toronto. Why is a “small government” party modelling in municipal politics? This is outrageous. Bike lanes make active transport safer, improving health outcomes, reducing the burden on healthcare systems, and over the medium and long term reduce congestion as the bike lanes network becomes more safe and comprehensive. Get back to work on health care, not municipal politics, Doug et al.
