This piece of legislation is a complete waste of time and money.
Studies on traffic reduction show that bike lanes have minimal to no impact on traffic.
Additional studies have shown that business owners believe higher proportions of their business come from drivers than is reality. Business patrons in Toronto are more likely to arrive on foot, transit or by bike.
If the province wants to reduce traffic, they should build more regional and local public transit infrastructure.
