This is a backwards looking policy.
As a Downtown Toronto taxpayer who both cycles and drives I know how much time I can save cycling to run errands or attend meetings while feeling much safer in bike lanes.
When I chose to drive I am much more aware of cyclists and feel that the road is being shared.
The proposal to not only limit but eliminate existing bike lanes is shortsighted and wasteful, not to mention an overreach by the Provincial Government into what should be a Municipal decision.
