Perhaps the problem with building highways should not be linked to bike lanes, unless the province is saying new highways will include biking infrastructure.
These two types of infrastructure are too far apart in both speed of movement and level of service.
The problem is not bike lanes but a lack of modern public transportation. Ontario does not have fast, reliable public transit and that needs to be solved before adding in a new highway.
