If the province is concerned about car commute times it should be looking at ways to reduce car traffic such as funding public transit and making pedestrian and bike commuting safer. Removing and hindering bike lanes is only going to increase car commuting and add to greenhouse gas emissions. As an Ontarian, I am embarrassed by this antiquated approach to traffic management.
