I couldn't hate this more. The province meddling in municipal politics over a couple lanes of traffic is absurd. The idea that these few lanes will fix car congestion is either deluded or a cynical political wedge issue. Furthermore, the removal of established bike lanes and added red tape on new ones is likely, at some point, going to result in the unnecessary death of ordinary Toronto working people. I would have to be deranged or sociopathic to endorse a bill that will result in the death of a human being. As a resident along Bloor st, who drives and bikes, I reject and condemn everything about this proposed bill.
