I am strongly against this bill.
Bike lanes are a net positive for the city. They do not increase congestion, they reduce road maintenance costs and they have positive environmental outcomes.
This bill is intended to reduce bike lane construction. It would add more bureaucracy to the system. We don't need more of that. Finally, bike lane construction in a city is not a provincial matter.
Do not pass this bill.
(also, the bill's name is absurd. Did a 15 year old come up with that?)
