I am against the removal of bike lanes or any interference by the province for cities to decide where bike lanes should be.
We do not need to waste money as a province to rip up existing bike lanes. Cars on the road are not sustainable as a long term solution as the city’s population grows. We need alternative modes of transport to be encouraged.
The only way to solve gridlock is to encourage people to take other modes by bettering transit/biking.
