Abandons a core principle of subsidiarity, centralizing what should be a municipal issue, and uses that overreach of power to push through a policy that has no evidence to support its claims. Bike lane infrastructure just…does not cause gridlock. Inadequate alternatives forms of transport does. Using tax payer money to step this far from principle and evidence is shameful. This is a vote that if it goes through, I will remember, not because it will affect me personally, but because it abandons so many principles of good governance to shore up your base of voters. It will be a base that will no longer include me for the rest of my voting future.
