Removing alternative methods of transport is not the way to solve traffic congestion. We should be focusing on reducing the number of cars on the road and encouraging people to use bikes and public transport. Bike lanes protect riders from careless drivers, and removing existing bike lanes is a waste of public funds and a massive overstep by the provincial government.
