Over a year ago, a close friend almost lost her life when hit by a truck in Toronto. If we remove bike lanes, the people of Toronto will continue losing friends and family. I have, sadly, witnessed cyclists being hit by cars more than once in my years in Toronto, always on streets without bike lanes. We should not continue seeing the number of cyclists hit grow. Please do not do this.
