Reducing bike lanes doesn’t make traffic flow better. This whole proposal is pointless and adds to more pollution. Why are we ripping out perfectly good infrastructure? It makes biking safer and if a car thinks it’s too slow to drive, maybe they should try a bike instead. Bike lanes make car use faster and biking safer. Why? Because it protects cyclists and it stops them from going on the road where cars are. With more cyclists in the road it reduces the number of cars. It also reduces the number of cyclists in front of cars slowing down car traffic. This is a lose lose situation and the only people it benefits is people with parking lots.
